The Ryan’s World franchise—which already has its foot in series, video games and consumer products—is expanding again with its first-ever feature film.

The live-action/animated feature Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure stars kidfluencer Ryan Kaji, who has to jump into a magical comic book to bring back his twin sisters after they get trapped inside it.

The film is set for a Q4 2024 delivery, but no platforms or theaters have been signed yet.

LA-based prodco pocket.watch is partnering with the Kaji family’s Sunlight Entertainment for the film, which marks the first time either company is producing a feature. (Sunlight primarily focuses on producing content for its Ryan’s World YouTube channels.)

Since starting out in 2015 as a toy-focused YouTube channel for the two to six demo, pocket.watch has built Ryan into a big name in kids entertainment. The Ryan’s World YouTube channel has more than 35 million subscribers, and pocket.watch has parlayed that success into the Nickelodeon series Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, along with video games and even a deal with Chuck E. Cheese locations to screen a Ryan’s World special.

In addition to using the new film as a vehicle to promote Ryan, pocket.watch will also incorporate appearances by other creators from its roster, such as Stella Wallace from The Stella Show (1.87 million YouTube subscribers) and Evangeline Lomelino from GEM Sisters (1.3 million YouTube subscribers). British magician Dan Rhodes, who signed with pocket.watch last year, will also guest star as himself in the movie. (Rhodes runs the most-viewed magic channel on YouTube, with more than 25 million subscribers.)
