Boston pubcaster GBH has announced a series of promotions and one new hire as senior executive producer Carol Greenwald (pictured bottom right) shifts into a consulting role.

The creator of Arthur first joined GBH in 1985 and has been serving as a senior executive producer since 2007. To fill the gap when she steps away, executive producer Dorothea Gillim (pictured top left) has been promoted to creative director and will oversee production on new and existing children’s programming. She’ll also continue to serve as executive producer on Molly of Denali and Pinklicious & Peterrific. Before joining GBH more than 10 years ago, Gillim worked at animation studio Soup2Nuts for 15 years.

Executive producer Marisa Wolsky (pictured bottom left), meanwhile, has been upped to director of children’s STEM media. In this new role, she will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans for GBH Kids’ STEM-focused media projects. Wolsky first joined the company in 1989, and was named executive producer in 2006.

Finally, Lisa Jones (pictured top right) has been hired as general manager of GBH Kids. She’ll work with legal, financial planning, fundraising and distribution partners in this brand-new role, as well as coordinating community engagement and outreach efforts. It’s a return to GBH for Jones, who previously worked as a project manager on the pubcaster’s ZOOM and Fetch with Ruff Ruffman series.
