NBCUniversal International has signed a carriage deal with South Korean telecom operator LG U+ to make its 24-hour kids and family network DreamWorks accessible on channel 209.

DreamWorks content that will be available in English with local-language subtitles includes Dragons: Race to the Edge, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! (pictured) and Tales of Arcadia: Trollhunters, as well as a block of morning preschool content for two- to five-year-olds featuring Noddy Toyland Detective and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion. 

LG U+ also picked up NBCU’s pop culture channel E! Entertainment, which will occupy channel 188.

This is NBCUniversal International’s third carriage deal in South Korea, following previous agreements with KT Corporation and SK Broadband. The DreamWorks channel has experienced quite a bit of international growth of late, expanding to MENA with beIN in 2016, and more recently in Taiwan with Taiwan Optical Platform on the cable operator’s channel 207.
