Indie distributor Distribution360 has hired former DRG and Cineflix International exec Diane Rankin to a newly created post in London, England.
Rankin becomes SVP of international sales and acquisitions, overseeing sales of content from parent marblemedia and third-party producers.
Most recently, Rankin held the post of SVP of acquisitions at DRG, and before that she was head of acquisitions at Cineflix International. She will divide her time between London and Toronto, as she reports to marblemedia managing partner Mark Bishop.
The distribution veteran has also worked at Kidscreen parentco Brunico Communications, where she was VP & group publisher, kids entertainment & non-fiction divisions.
