Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and MGA Entertainment subsidiary Little Tikes have partnered to create a new playset that’s all about letting kids run their own cookie business.

The Little Tikes 2-in-1 Girl Scout Cookie Booth rolls out today at retail outlets across North America. Designed for children ages three and up, it comes packaged with 19 role-play accessories including cookie boxes, a credit card reader and two dry-erase sign boards that kids can write their daily specials on.

GSUSA and Little Tikes designed the booth to help teach preschoolers and young kids real-life skills such as decision-making, business ethics and social interaction through pretend play, said GSUSA chief revenue officer Wendy Lou in a release. She adds that Girl Scouts who own the booths can also use them during the cookie fundraising season (from January through March) to conduct real transactions and sell products.

While GSUSA is best known for its STEM programs for young girls and busy fundraising seasons, the New York-based non-profit is no stranger to the licensing space. Earlier this year, it inked deals with Unilever for two new flavors of Breyers ice cream (based on the Girl Scouts’ thin mints and samoas cookies) and with Nestlé for a pair of Carnation Breakfast Essentials drinks.
