Hasbro is expanding further into the world of digital publishing, tapping Ruckus Mobile Media to develop interactive storybook apps based on its Tonka Chuck and Friends, My Little Pony and Transformers Prime brands.
The apps will include title-focused games, coloring and read-and-record functions. Chuck and Friends will be first out of the gates on Apple and Android platforms next month.
Ruckus Mobile Media has been granted the worldwide rights in English-speaking markets and is scheduled to release the Hasbro children’s storybook apps across a variety of popular mobile platforms.
