Nickelodeon has greenlit a 20-episode second season of The Really Loud House, along with a new live-action holiday film.

The Really Loud House (pictured) premiered last November and reimagines Nick’s Loud House animated series in a live-action format. Season two will continue to follow lead character Lincoln Loud as he deals with the chaos of being the only boy in a family with 10 daughters.

Meanwhile, A Really Haunted Loud House is set to debut this fall on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. The Halloween movie will see Lincoln and his best friend struggling to decide between trick-or-treating with their families or going to a party hosted by the new cool kid at school.

Jonathan Judge (A Loud House Christmas) is directing the film, with Tony Gama-Lobo and Rebecca May (The Casagrandes Movie) writing the script. Judge and Michael Rubiner (The Loud House) are executive producers on both projects. Nickelodeon & Awesomeness live-action co-heads Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin are overseeing A Really Haunted Loud House for Nickelodeon Studios, with Brittany Cope in place as the Nick executive in charge of production.

Nickelodeon premiered The Loud House in 2016, and the six-season show (176 episodes) is one of the kidsnet’s longest-running animated series. Beyond the franchise’s expansion efforts in live action, Nick has also moved the IP into books, a podcast and album.
