Sky Kids

UK broadcaster Sky Kids is getting in shape with two new pieces of content from KIDZ BOP. First up is the 20 x five-minute series called KIDZ BOP Presents: Move It! which launched on April 12. The series will be followed by a two-hour concert special KIDZ Bop Live in Concert on May 30.

This new content push is part of Sky and KIDZ BOP’s ongoing partnership, which so far has led to three previous sing-and-dance workshops on the UK network.

BRB International

Madrid-based BRB International has picked up worldwide distribution rights for Swiss prodco Foo Entertainment’s Miss Bellyfoo (26 x 26 minutes). The 3D-animated musical adventure for three to nines, revolves around the magical Miss Bellyfoo, who uses her music to fight the evil forces who want to take over her world. Foo Entertainment’s president Chris Djuritschek created the series, which is in development now.

Moose Toys

Video game developer Mediatronic and publisher Devolver Digital have named Australia’s Moose Toys as master toy partner for the Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout game. Moose Toys will roll out the first toys and collectibles (pictured) for the multiplayer title where players compete in wacky games—like tag or obstacle courses—and battle to be the last person standing. Moose Toys will create figures, collectibles and plush. The products will roll out worldwide, but no release dates have been announced yet. Launched in August 2020, Fall Guys has racked up millions of players through gaming consoles, according to the companies.

In other Moose Toys news, the toyco has tapped LA-based techco Brainbase to help manage and monetize its IPs. Moose Toys will use the tech startup’s Brainbase Assist platform to handle creative approvals, royalty reports, contract and digital asset management in one place. Other companies using Brainbase include BBC Studios, Sanrio and SYBO Games.

Boat Rocker Studios

Toronto-based Boat Rocker Studios has appointed German kidsnet Super RTL as the European licensing agent for its preschool adventure Dino Ranch (52 x 11 minutes). Super RTL will be the exclusive licensing agent in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The 3D-animated series premiered in January on CBC (Canda) and Disney Junior (US). It focuses on a group of kids in a wild west setting where dinosaurs roam free. Super RTL will air the series in Q1 2022. The kidsnet is seeking licensees to join the brand’s existing partners Scholastic, and Jazwares.
