Amazon-owned AVOD IMDb TV has picked up Flying Bark Productions’ CG-animated series 100% Wolf – Legend of the Moonstone. It will launch in the US exclusively on the AVOD platform on August 12.

The 26 x 22-minute series (pictured) is produced by Studio 100’s Australian subsidiary Flying Bark Productions, in association with its commissioning broadcasters ABC (Australia) and Super RTL (Germany), and Studio 56. The deal was negotiated on behalf of Studio 100 Media by indie film production studio and distributor Viva Pictures.

Based on the books 100% Wolf and 100% Hero by Jane Lyons, the TV show has already been sold to 80 territories. It premiered on its commissioning broadcasters in late 2020, as well as Discovery Kids (LatAm).

A feature film, 100% Wolf,  was also released last year and has been sold to 70 territories around the world. It is also distributed by Viva Pictures.

Both the feature and the TV series follow a young heir to a werewolf pack who must deal with a failed transformation when he turns instead into a poodle. The series was the most-screened show at the 2019 MIPJunior.
