Marc van den Bosch-Mprah has left Super RTL and joined Netflix as its new manager of content acquisitions and co-productions for film in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the DACH region), Kidscreen has confirmed.

Based in Berlin, he started in the new position earlier this month and will lead the film division across the region, according to a Netflix spokesperson. The SVOD had not confirmed whether Van den Bosch-Mprah’s role would include kids and family content at press time.

Prior to taking on the new Netflix role, Van den Bosch-Mprah was the senior manager of content acquisitions and co-productions at German broadcaster Super RTL. While there, he oversaw the acquisitions, development and co-production of kids content for linear and SVOD. Before taking on content-focused roles, he spent time at Warner Bros., ViacomCBS and Discovery doing distribution and sales for Germany.
