MGA Entertainment has inked a multi-year deal to produce and distribute an L.O.L. Surprise! Loves Crayola range of dolls and accessories inspired by the iconic crayon brand’s best-selling colors, starting in early 2024.

Under this partnership, MGA can also sub-license the designs for these Crayola dolls to create an offshoot consumer products program encompassing kids apparel, accessories, housewares, beauty and party goods. These products are set to hit shelves in spring 2024.

In related news, the toyco is rolling out new dolls with Haribo (pictured) to expand its successful L.O.L. Surprise! Loves Mini Sweets range based on confectionery brands. Popular gummies from the German candy-maker’s roster that have been leveraged in this latest product launch include Happy Cherries and Frogs.

Mini Sweets launched in June 2022, and it was the L.O.L. Surprise! brand’s top-performing product segment last year. MGA has already signed on additional confectionery partners including Hershey’s, Tootsie Pop, Junior Mints and Ring Pop.
