Content from production studio Moonscoop, including Code Lyoko and Tara Duncan (pictured), will be available in the US and Canada on video-on-demand platform hoopla via public library cards.

The deal, which makes content accessible online and on mobile devices to public library patrons, represents Moonscoop’s continuing expansion into new digital media platforms.

As of late, Moonscoop’s Kabillion on-demand network inked a Code Lyoko YouTube deal, and Moonscoop titles already on iTunes include Chloe’s Closet, Dive Olly Dive and Code Lyoko.  Amazon.com has picked up Code Lyoko, Toddworld, Pet Alien, Bobby’s World, Mix Master and Cosmic Quantum Ray, and Netflix has licensed Code Lyoko, Bobby’s World and Pet Alien.  Watchever, the Vivendi Company’s SVOD service in Germany, acquired 180 episodes including Tara Duncan, Titeuf, Fantastic 4 and Sam-Sam.  A package deal of 400 episodes was closed in France with SVOD service Canal Play Infinity, and 500 episodes were recently sold to Videotron VOD service in Canada.

Initial shows to launch on hoopla include the first two seasons of Code Lyoko and the first season of Tara Duncan. Additional Moonscoop titles are set to debut in the coming months on hoopla, which on top of TV shows plays home to digital movies, music and audiobooks.
