Comcast NBCUniversal has forged a “global talent partnerships” deal with NBA MVP Stephen Curry’s production company, Unanimous Media. The multi-year agreement includes a first-look development deal with DreamWorks Animation for kids and family content, although no project details were available at press time. Unanimous will also develop scripted and unscripted content for Universal Studio Group.

Curry (pictured left) is on tap do a variety of on-camera appearances for NBC, and will help reimagine the PSA campaign “The More You Know,” which has been active for more than 30 years. He’s working with singer John Legend to produce short videos focused on diversity, equity and inclusion that will air across NBCUniversal’s platforms, including Peacock. Additional concepts are in development with the company’s Entertainment group, as well as NBC News Studios, MSNBC, CNBC, Universal Parks & Resorts and Xfinity.

Curry runs Unanimous Media with chief creative officer Erick Peyton (pictured right). Executives who will work on these new initiatives with Comcast NBCUniversal include Jenelle Lindsay (EVP of TV), Brian Tetsuro Ivie (head of film and feature documentaries) and Kalyna Kutny (head of podcast and publishing).

Comcast NBCUniversal has been inking more of these cross-portfolio agreements lately, including with celebs such as Meghan Trainor, Miley Cyrus and Jordan Peele.
