9 Story Media's Rosie's Rules will teach preschoolers the basics of government and how society works.
October 26, 2021

PBS KIDS has ordered the new 2D-animated comedy Rosie’s Rules from 9 Story Media Group to premiere in fall 2022.

Rosie’s Rules (40 x 30-minutes) follows a six-year-old Mexican American as she learns social study concepts at a preschool level, such as community, economics, government and history. For example, through an episode, she may work out how public transportation of mail delivery works.

Writer Jennifer Hamburg (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) created the series, and Mariana Diaz-Wionczek (Dora the Explorer) is executive producing, while Maria Escobedo (Elena of Avalor) is its story editor. 9 Story, and its animation studio Brown Bag Films, are producing the show.

PBS KIDS will launch games, learning materials and printable activities to accompany the series on its website and in the PBS KIDS Games app, according to a release.
