Arnon Avitzur and Erika Rosenberg have joined early education app-maker Lingokids to help the Madrid-based company grow its US presence in the wake of securing US$40 million in funding for expansion.

Based in New York, Arnon Avitzur started last month in his new role as chief product officer, tasked with accelerating the company’s product development, and heading up its product management, user experience and learning teams. Avitzur most recently served as VP of product at American educational technology company Chegg. Prior to that, he oversaw the development of New York-based educational website BrainPOP’s first interactive high school math product.

Rosenberg joined Lingokids in December as director of global brand strategy. Based in LA, her remit is to increase global awareness of the platform. Rosenberg was previously senior manager of product marketing in the consumer products division at Disney. And prior to that, she worked at Mattel as an associate brand manager, overseeing global marketing and product development for kids games and puzzles.
