UK-based Jetpack Distribution has appointed Gillian Calvert Ridge to the newly created role of global head of sales.

Calvert Ridge, who previously served as head of global distribution at Belfast’s Sixteen South, will now be responsible for finding broadcasters for Jetpack’s catalog—including Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed,  Kitty is Not a Cat and Justin Time Go!—in Central Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Ireland, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, New Zealand and LatAm. She will be based in Belfast and report to Jetpack CEO Dominic Gardiner.

At Sixteen South, Calvert Ridge helmed sales for the studio’s properties in European and LatAm territories. Calvert Ridge has also held senior roles at Foxtel Networks Australia, Viacom International Media Networks and Entertainment Rights.

Late last year, Jetpack secured a raft of worldwide sales for The Sisters, Jamie’s Got Tentacles and Yoko on multiple platforms and broadcasters. The distributor also picked up global rights to UK/Ireland preschool co-pro Boj, which currently airs on Sprout (US), ABC (Australia) and CBeebies (UK).
